Cotton in Pennsylvania German Life
Flying Geese Crib Quilt
ca. 1880-1910
Cotton
Probably Montgomery or Berks County
Source unknown

Popular double pinks and greens were combined to make this very cheerful crib quilt. The bright colors were very much favored among the Pennsylvania German quilt makers; evident in other quilt patterns, such as Rainbow, that enjoyed great popularity at the turn of the 20th century.
